In addition, as Director of Facilities Operations, you will make full use of your extensive experience with the RFX process, including contract negotiations and managing contracts from inception to closure.

This mandate will also benefit from your strong customer service focus and extensive experience collaborating, partnering and managing interpersonal relationships across all levels of an organization, enabling you to deal effectively with client divisions, senior management, Council, peers and colleagues. A persuasive communicator and negotiator, with superior analytical, human relations and presentation skills, and a high degree of initiative and creativity in problem-solving, you know how to exercise discretion in a multi-stakeholder environment where demonstrated political acumen, judgement and insight are essential for success. Significant knowledge of all relevant legislation (e.g. Health and Safety, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Human Rights and Employment Equity, etc.) is also required.
